Oh, is it tough?

"I can't, I just can't do it. It's so tough!", exclaimed Rahul.

His father was trying to teach him riding a bicycle but Rahul found it really hard. He was about to give up when he witnessed a handicapped boy selling newspapers on a bicycle. 

He started pedaling again, this time with more enthusiasm.

It was the best of times, it'll be the best of times

There is something oddly satisfying when you advise someone to live in the present. It seems obvious, and the joy of stating the obvious to people is unmatched. Worrying about the past is as useful as expecting a street corner without paan stains. Past is beyond human control as of the 21st century. Similarly, future is yet to come. Letting it affect the present appears to be a lose-lose proposition. However, after interacting with hundreds of self-proclaimed mental health experts, I have come to realise that it is indeed better to live in the past, or future, basically anything but present. Present is chaotic. There are just too many issues and everything seems to be breaking. If you are a cricket fan of my age, Cricket World Cup 2019 would be fresh in your memories, more so than 2023 maybe. We started off pretty poorly, then stabilized with Dhoni and Jadeja batting carefully. It was then that Jadeja teed off, while Dhoni continued cautiously, providing the balance to the team score. Despite their efforts, we fell short.  A significant section of Indian fans blamed Dhoni for the defeat.
